NSBA October Luncheon to Feature Nonprofit Leaders in Panel Discussion
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The North Springfield Betterment Association (NSBA) will host a nonprofit panel discussion at its monthly luncheon on Thursday, October 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cox North’s Fountain Plaza Room (1423 N. Jefferson Ave.).
The event will feature leaders from three local nonprofits making a direct impact in Springfield:
Adam Bodendieck, Senior Director of Homeless Services, O’Reilly Center for Hope
Jordan Browning, Director of Communications, Ozarks Food Harvest
Saundra Wilkinson, Vice President, Women’s Medical Respite
The discussion will be moderated by Greg Burris, Executive Director of the Give 5 Program with United Way of the Ozarks. Burris will lead the conversation on challenges facing the nonprofit sector, the importance of volunteerism, and the urgent community needs each organization addresses.
“This forum gives our members and guests a firsthand look at the life-changing work happening across our community,” Burris said. “We’re spotlighting how these organizations adapt in difficult times—and how the public can support their missions.”
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch is served at 11:45, and the program starts promptly at noon. Lunch is $20 for paid NSBA members and first-time visitors. Guests attending the program without lunch may pay a $20 program fee.
Attendees are encouraged to bring questions for the open Q&A following the panel. Nonprofits will also have information and flyers available for those interested in volunteering or learning more.
