KY3’s Ashley Reynolds to Present ‘Scam School’ at February NSBA Luncheon
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Jan 23, 2026 – Ashley Reynolds, award-winning consumer reporter for KY3 News, will present “Scam School” at the North Springfield Betterment Association (NSBA) luncheon on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Cox North Fountain Plaza Room.
Reynolds is the executive producer of KY3’s On Your Side, a consumer investigation segment that helps viewers across the Ozarks understand their rights and avoid scams. Her Scam School presentation will highlight real cases from her reporting, share tactics used by con artists, and offer tools for protecting your identity, finances, and family.
Reynolds has earned wide recognition for her work, including four regional Emmy Awards, two Edward R. Murrow awards, the Missouri Police Chiefs Association’s “Mary Phelan Media Award”, and several honors from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and Kansas City Press Club.
“A big part of my job is making sure people know how to protect their money and their identity,” Reynolds said. “The more we talk about these scams, the better we can stop them.”
Born and raised in the Ozarks, Reynolds graduated from Hillcrest High School and the University of Missouri. She joined KY3 in 2011.
The NSBA luncheon takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1423 N Jefferson Ave., Springfield, MO 65802. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch is served at 11:45, and the program begins promptly at noon. Lunch is $20. Program-only attendance is free.
