About Our Guest Speakers

Cora Scott is the City of Springfield's Director of Public Information and Civic Engagement and serves as Chair of both the Missouri Route 66 Centennial Commission and the National Route 66 Centennial Kickoff Celebration. Springfield has been selected as the host city for the national kickoff of America's Route 66 Centennial Celebration in 2026, and Cora has been at the center of making that happen. She'll share what's coming for the four-day celebration running April 30 through May 3, which includes the TODAY Show broadcasting live from Springfield, a classic car parade, a major concert at Great Southern Bank Arena, and the Red, White & Bridge Bash.


Ramona Pieron will speak about the Red, White & Bridge Bash, the community celebration surrounding the long-awaited reopening of the historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge. Built in 1902, the bridge…
