The North Springfield Betterment Association is proud to sponsor many community projects (which are listed below).

Ann Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund and Wade Williams Scholarship Endowment Fund. NSBA awards scholarships to selected graduating seniors of both Central High School and Hillcrest High School.

Elementary School Attendance Program.

This program motivates children and their families in the 14 North Springfield Elementary schools, placing an emphasis on attending school. NSBA sponsors the quarterly and year-end rewards that are given to the children and the schools who achieve their goals in attendance. NSBA is able to provide these incentives by holding our annual Business Expo, private donations, and through special fundraisers in conjunction with our NSBA Corporate members. The announcements of these special fundraisers are listed on our Web site and through our connection on Facebook. Sponsor a Child is the special project that funds the quarterly incentives and our year-end celebration, The Attendance Party, for our 14 Northside shcools. This program allows you to choose your level of sponsorship, be it one child or a dozen, at the affordable donation of $5.00 per child.

North Springfield Beautification Award. Every month, the NSBA recognizes the efforts of an individual, family, organization, or business in improving the appearance of the northside.

Annual Civic Contributor Award. NSBA selects an individual who has made an outstanding, positive impact on the northside.

Monthly Newsletter, The Northsider. We send a monthly newsletter to all members, highlighting issues and activities.
